EMS Benefits
20 minutes of a Fit Express® EMS workout is equivalent to 90 minutes of a high intensity workout. This training includes all body parts due to the device stimulating every muscle group at once. As a static training type; isometric contractions are proportionately higher. This results in a short but very intense training with only 2-3 sessions per week, which can burn calories up to 24 hours after each of these sessions. It is recommended to wait a minimum of 48 hours between each EMS training.
The Fit Express® EMS technology is customized for each client. This is achieved by the individual training program that provides a physical load on the entire musculature while the actual muscle resistance is not apparent from outside.
Typically, when you workout at the gym (or do other exercises) you will only use between 40-70% of your strength potential. FitExpress® EMS improves how your muscles work together and increases the intensity of your muscle contractions, enabling your body to use up to 90% of its potential, achieving more in a shorter time.
The extra stimulation given to your muscles during a FitExpress® EMS workout session is what leads to an increase in muscle mass. Agonist and antagonist muscles are trained at the same time, therefore every exercise strengthens the isometrically contracted muscle. After just a few workout sessions, you will typically notice an increase in the size of your muscles.
In many types of sports, strength has a major impact on performance. FitExpress® EMS workouts maximize the capacity and strength of the muscles. A FitExpress® EMS workout is an incredibly useful and time-efficient fitness program to undertake alongside conventional types of training for sports such as football, baseball, and most other athletics.
FitExpress® EMS stimulation stabilizes muscles on deeper levels, which are difficult to reach by conventional training. This helps to improve body posture. Improved posture is known to reduce back pain and increase flexibility.
A FitExpress® EMS workout has low impact on joints and muscles. The workout intensity does not result from heavy loads but from electrical stimulation. This results in minimal stress on the joints, bones, and muscles. During a FitExpress® EMS workout, the workout intensity is generated by electrical stimulation. This enables the user to enjoy gentle workout sessions that are easy on the joints.
FitExpress® EMS is designed to allow for the selective targeting of particular muscle groups. This is especially important to correct muscular imbalances. These can be caused from a weakness due to prior injury, surgery, by over training, a sedentary lifestyle, or poor posture.
FitExpress® EMS has various effects on cellulite. It tones the connecting tissue and increases blood circulation. As a result of the stimulation, the skin becomes tighter and smoother.
Fit Express® EMS training enables you in 20-25 minutes to burn up to 500 calories. Each session includes a few minutes of cardio training in addition to the strength training.
FitExpress® EMS promotes a high level of metabolic activity during, and for many hours after, a workout session. The higher your metabolism, the better your body will burn fat and build lean muscle mass. FitExpress® EMS provides better blood supply to tissues of the surrounding muscles, which can help to fight cellulite and tighten skin.
As FitExpress® EMS training is gentler on the joints than conventional training, this enables Seniors to maintain physical activity without risking strain of their musculoskeletal system. Many reclaim or maintain a level of mobility, strength and functional movement that may have been hindered by age, disease, surgery, injury and/or immobility.
